    Default Power cord question

Hi! Not sure if I have posted this in the correct spot so... I ordered a power cord from Signal Cable which I received today. On the receipt it recommends a minimum 50 hour break in period. Right now my stereo is all taken apart; is it alright to go ahead and put the new cord on and play a CD in order to get this started? Id like to get this done so that when everything is put back in place it will hopefully be done. Thanks so much for your help.

That sounds like a splendid idea... go ahead and do just that. Out of curiosity, did you get the MagicPower power cord or the digital reference?
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I told him what I had and to just send whatever he recommended. The receipt says it is a Video Power Reference. I trust he knew what he was doing. I recently bought a Power Conditioner and will need a longer cord on my NAD so it will reach to the box. Wasn't even thinking at the time to order both of them.

I have purchased many products (power cords, speaker cables, IC's) from Frank and have always been satisfied. To reiterate what the other people indicated, Frank will do you right. Enjoy.

Don't worry about break-in. Just use it when your stereo is back together again..
