Niles Multi-Zone, and iPod Install

Has any installer here intergrated an iPod into a multi-zone distributed source system. I'm using the Niles 8630AV http://www.nilesaudio.com/product_se....php?catcdID=2

with 6 Niles T2 touch sreen access panels. I'm looking for a dock that will allow remote operation of the iPod. I know there are docks that will talk with Onkyo's RI system, but this install is using separate receiver/preamp and B&K amps. I'd like to not use IR repeaters, but will if I can't find other solution. Big thanks,

I thought the Niles Smartdock could be controlled through the keypads, but after doing a litlle more research, I don't think it can.

I'll do a little more research to see what brands might be able to work with it. My initial response is that you will have to use an IR repeater system.
