"if it's not fun, it's not worth it!!"

Well almost everybody at work. That's why I enjoy you guys so much.
Here's the one comment I got at work "smaller speakers sound better and don't take up any room and Bose is the best"
So you see what I have to put up with...... marooons![]()
The triumph of marketing over actual experience; with the lie assisted by typical consumer preference. They WANT the little speaker to be "better" than the big speaker. When someone puts enough money into spreading a lie they want to be true...it becomes "true" in their minds.
tbrucev359, you have been reported. Do us all a favor and talk a long walk off a short pier.

Actually the wilson's are $200k a pair, and yes they are ugliest things I could imagine.. tho you all should check out the article on stereophile's (yuck) website. The ridiculous arguement that goes in the comment afterwards, well... is just sad... i get the feeling that the writer has a severe case of buyers remorse, but refuses to admit it.
Seems you misplaced #187 as well.
'Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
I don't care how good they sound, I don't care how rich I am $200k for a set of speakers is insane, plus what it would cost to drive them. In a true blind test I wonder how many people would pick them over some lesser speaker?
