    Cool FrankinSpanky !

I got home today wore out and really stressed....so what`s new ya say !?!

I hooked up the Dodd to the Rotel 980, put some 6dj8/ec88 amprex (Holland) tubes in her,and warmed up the Jolida...

Hooked the ol 7`s up ...ran some AudioQuest Diamondbacks to everything....and BANG !...Magic !

    I gotta say...the `ol dodd still sounds good !

Now if I could just talk Jesse into hot rodding the Jolida , I would be in..!!

I probably should be playing with the Cary, But I have alot of variations to mess with, and I keep telling myself that I have to try it all occasionaly to justify having it !

I sold alot of RTi`s today to my brother and friends, and still have some to move...but that`s another thread !!

    Ain`t Music Great !
    I feel better already ....:p

My wife just does not understand that after a hard day that music cranked at decent levels relaxes me. She always says how in the world can you relax with all that noise. I reply its only noise if your not listening.

Must be nice to have enough gear to play with:D

I'm the same way. When I got home last night, I warmed up the "BBQ" for a few minutes before I crank er' up. My tube amp = BBQ. The tubes get hot and mine came with this grill tube cover, so it looks like BBQ....................hahaha.
Anyway, I took the grill off so the tubes look good on it.

I put on some smooth Jazz tunes from "Euge Groove", 'Slam Dunk' and 'Too Cool' are some good cuts. Sat in my sofa, put my feet up, glass of wine..............WOW..........Heaven!! :D

    Those are some good tunes..!

I have been back a few weeks, and I`m already doing real long days and I`m stressed as hell..

I`m starting to get real tired again and don`t seem to be regenerating energy very well/fast....

but good music makes it all bearable..!!

    Get it ...bear-able !

    Okay so I`m tired !
Jesse has me wanting to upgrade the Jolida, so I have a direction to go in with the gear..and YES it IS good to have enough gear to play with !

Foer some reason I never have enough gear though...even though I really have too much !!!

    If that makes sense...:o ;)

Take it easy, bro. Deep breaths, plenty of breaks and maybe a long ride this weekend.

Don't know Benoit but just sampled some tracks off of Amazon and I LIKE it. A lot seems like the 70's rock jazz with a funky side. How about a couple of recommendations?? The funkier the better. Quick sample suggests:

just got a brand new belles 21a With auracap upgrade($3000) for $1500, can't wait to get it in. the dodd elp is still sounding sweet with a pair of nos teslas with herbie's dampers on. listening to brian bromberg and some alan broadbent. oh that upright bass, the strings just sing and are lightning fast.
it's going to be a killer waiting on the belles.
