    Default Surround recommendation for rti6 + csi3?

I just set up my brand new rti6s and csi3 as center + psw10. I'm very impressed and pleased with them - hearing many things I couldn't before.

I have some rather dismal onkyo HTIB leftovers as my rears, and although I was wowed by the fxi3s, I am looking for a more economical solution for rears. Any suggestions for complimentary surrounds?

    Thanks! :D

RTi4 would be a logical choice.

Thanks for the reply - I should have been more specific. I'm looking for something smaller than rti4s. Something closer to the size of a mirage omnisat, or a bose cube - that won't sound too wonky with my fronts. It may be a case of just trying different combinations, but I thought I'd check with the wealth of experience on these forums, first.

    More suggestions are appreciated!

    Bose Cube ???

I think you were on the right track with the FXi3's ... If NIB is too expensive you can sometimes find them for sale here or on eBay ...

Hehehe.... I see you took the bait. I said only in terms of size. ;) But, I feel you may be right. I'll check the classifieds.

    Thanks!

There is an RM101 (i think). It is used in the RM10 and RM20 (rear only). It is +/- an inch of the mirage. I have not heard them. You may also check out the Def Tech Pro Monitor. For rears you should be able to get away with the less elaborate Pro Monitor 60s.

What do I think ? ... I think they were intended ( obviously ) to be centers ...

    In a 5.1 / 7.1 configuration, bi/dipoles make for better surrounds ...
