I was thinking about using an in wall speaker for a center channel and wanted to see what you thought about it. A buddy of mine suggested building a shelf for a regular center channel but i am not really okay with that as i am trying to get a clean look.
I have a 100W per channel yamaha receiver (few years old) and 2 TC60i as rears. I will be switching out my fronts soon but currently are JBL floorstandingspeakers. I love the sound of polk and will be certainly be swapping those out very soon.
Either way, i was looking at the TC265i because there is a driver on each side of the tweeter. I am thinking that will be better than one with a single driver and single tweeter.... am i correct? Will the TC265 be better than the LC65i?
So all in all,
1. Is an in-wall center okay?
2. Do you think i can use a TC265i as a center?
3. Will it be better than a LS65i?
4. What would you recommend that i use for the center?
Thanks for your time in advance! I really appreciate it!!
