Default Anybody want a copy of The Hunt for Red October

No charge, you just have to have been a member as long as me, July 05

WS- but its an older copy that doesn't fill the entire screen of a WS tv, I don't know whats up with that, I think its because it's not anamorphic or something.

That movie totally rocks. Just not sure if I qualify. Losing my mind so I do not remember my join date. So basically making this post to see if I do qualify.

P.S. of course after all my comments about Mississippi in Brett's thread, I probably don't have a chance anyway. LOL

OMG...just looked. Aug 2005. Too funny. Sweet revenge on me for trashing MS. (...oh my sides...too funny)

Oh that would ruin my bad karma if I accepted it now. I do appreciate the offer but that is just too funny. Story of my life!

If no one claims it tomorrow, I am sure I will reconsider your more than generous offer. ;)

I'd love to own that movie - if you don't pass it to Holydoc, please consider me.

While I will certainly take it - if you want to open it up as a general Hunt for Karma - that is fine. Set the rules, close it at the end of the week and randomly pick a winner. It sounds like quite a few people are interested in it -

If you want to redo this as a standard Karma - just count me as IN. (if not, let me know and I will PM you my info)

    Thanks again,

Guys I never ment for this to be karma in anyway. I didn't feel like people should have to put their names in a pot and wait a week for $5 copy of a 15 yr old movie I picked up at walmart. I had an extra copy laying around and just posted to see if anyboby wanted it. Holydoc posted and after no one else showed interest, (as of last night) I told him he could have it if he wanted it. he said he did so I told him I would send it to him. Now if he wants, I will strat this thing all over and make it a true karma if Holydoc wishes that is.

Eeep! I thought it was pretty funny that I did not qualify because of a months difference. After seeing Dave and Mike had the same problem, I was crying.

Bottom line the rules are rules and I just sent Miller my mailing info because I thought the only ones interested with August newbies like me. :) If anyone of the rest of you that did sign up who did qualify feel they should have it, I will GLADLY let the beerman ... uh Millerman send it on to you.

I am just here for the fun, and the occassion quip about stereo equipment. :)
