Agreed and will do. This is my last post in this thread about this topic, ALTHOUGH.....there already two threads about the LG player....Mcloki started the first one and wingnut started the 2nd one....so this really isn't too much of a hijack.

    BL,
After paying $150+ a month for cable, the $5 a month DVR fee being such an issue leads me to believe this is more about principle than $$$. Complaining to them about the outdated technology will accomplish nothing because 1) they are probably too ignorant to even understand and 2) even if they do understand, getting upgraded non-DVR boxes will happen if and when Comcast (at the corporate level) chooses to do so, regardless of how many complaints they get, all with the local employees (and managers) helpless to deal with the issue.

That's my only reason for just combatting this from a simple pricing issue. I've never dealt with Comcast so maybe this is impossible with them.

Anywhoo... good luck. Stick it to the man.
If it was only $5 this would be over. $5 is worth the extra PQ to me. However, DVR is an extra $12 and change in my area so thats why this is a pricing issue.

Unless you want one online at a big box store. Back on topic. BB and CC both have them online. So if you want one, they are certainly available.

and back on topic from my end....im curious to see the level of CS that LG offers for this product and how long it will actually stay in the market. Anyone who does buy one from CC and BB, get the extended warranty so BB and CC are forced to refund if something happens.

I have a feeling that the problems will be many and the service will be slim.

Spoke too soon. BB had them, but they are now sold out. You can still order from CC, though.

    HEY! stay on topic!

In 9 years they will have the all in one gizmo. Watch HDTV, makes your coffee, toasts your bagels in the morning, works as a phone, etc.
