    Default Couple Of Amp Q's

I've asked about Outlaw & B&k amps and I appreciate the feedback. I have a couple more q's about Adcom, Rotel, and Sunfire Cinema(Carver) amps. I just want to make sure I buy what I want now and not rebuy one later. Are these all really even in the same class together. Thanks

    Hi Live,
Between Adcom, Rotel and Sunfire, with all else being equal I would get a Rotel. They have been known to be the most musical of those 3 imho. There are different levels of each brand and also some stellar and not so stellar models over the years. What is more important is the other gear and speakers you will use, and for what purpose? Music, movies....What is the environment? How efficient are your speakers? Are they full range?....It all factors in.

P.S. If you go with a nice amp, it may future-proof you for upgrades later on.

Sounds like you've already done some research Just pick one that fits your budget, needs, and preferences. That's all you can do. Don't worry -- you'll buy another brand later because you'll eventually get the urge to "upgrade."
