I just wanted to share a very strange sensation... after fixing a couple of obvious major holes on my setup I feel almost, umm, content. I never thought I could ever feel this way! Do you guys always want to upgrade, or is there a momentary happiness that lingers for a few days/weeks?
I replaced my TV with a 56" LCoS set, replaced my receiver, and bought a Harmony remote. For once the quality of my audio and video are around equal. I had a Onkyo 602 and replaced with a Denon mostly for the audio delay feature to correct a AV lip synch issue. I must say the Denon produces a nicer sound to my ears anyway. I especially like the way it has improved the bass coming out of my SVS.
Next month I will probably decide I need to replace my surround speakers - my new weak link :-) But today I feel good!
