Help me with what wires to get from monoprice. Please Help! Need to order soon!

Hi all.

I'm about to join Team Polk and I need some help on what to order from monoprice.com with the following setup:

Fronts: Rti8
Center:CSi5
Rear: Rti4 or maybe some towers such as Monitor 40's (asking about the mismatch of Rti and monitor in the speaker forum as we speak).
Sub: EIther an HSU or SVS (no more than $300 or $400 model)

Receiver: HK 435

Everything else that probably doesn't matter: Samsung 4095 1080p LCD, Vip 622 HD DVR from Dish Network, either a Samsung or Oppo upconvert DVD player.

The longest run will be about 20 ft.


My questions:

I have never had a speaker setup in my life. I don't have the HK AVR yet so I haven't been able to take a look at it. I need to know what wires to buy from monoprice.com.

I have no idea what gauge to get (16?) and what type of connectors I need for the Polks or the HK receiver. What are bananas/spades etc? Is one better or easier?

Should I get a specific wire for the sub?

In other words, TELL ME WHAT TO GET AND HOW TO HOOK IT UP.

Also, having no experience with this stuff, should I even attempt to bi-wire at this point? I hear that there isn't a diffence to most people's ears.

P.S. For the other cables, I will be ordering 2 HDMI's for the DVD and DVR directly to the TV. Also, 2 opticals for those 2 to the AVR. Anything else I need besides that and the speaker wire?
