    Default More quality sound

    Is it possible to enhace my sound to my rear surrounds by adding a two channel amp to them. I would use my 2 channel rotel 991 200watts/ch. I would be taking them off my 5 channel sunfire cinema grand. The speakers are the lsifx'es. I would like to see if there would be a more definded sound. Thanks Doug

    If i were to guess, i would say no, but give it a try if you want. Do you have a dedicated 20 amp circuit connected connected to your sunfire? If not, I would give that a try first.

    Agreed with the others. They are already getting 200wpc. Have you balanced all the speakers? But since you already have the Rotel, go ahead & try it. Just let us know what the outcome is.

    Well just to post this i did change the amp and i could not hear a change. Just had to try it. You guys were right on.

    Can i ask, what you used to test it? Music or movies? What do you have your speakers crossed over at?
