new tv...now where do I put my center channel?

Hey All,

I may be making the HDTV plunge soon and getting a Mitsubishi 52" DLP...My current tv is a HUGE 36" Toshiba CRT flat screen and i could place the rather large 400i center speaker on top of the tv..no problem

But the 52" Mitsu is much smaller depth wise and there is no way I can place a speaker on top..

what do you guys do with your center channels? I guess I could make a small shelf on the back wall...

I'm using this on my 50" SONY LCD. It works out great. My AAD center weighs just about 30lb. Never had a problem. It is very sturdy.

See if you can get a kick stand like the CSi5 has, or build a shelf.

I use this same shelf for my LSic on a Hitachi 50" LCD. It works really well. I purchased mine at Circuit City though.

Right after we purchased our RPLCD TV we bought a new rack to go with it. LINK. The wife likes it since it house the Center Channel as well as most of our other HT gear.

I am also using the Omnimount shelf. It is at $40 it is a real value. I have a 56" JVC and my CSi5 is stable on the top.
