You have to buy at least three speakers though.

If I read that right you can get a pair of ref1's for $499 and the center for $349.00

I've wanted to try Ref 1s for a while, and $500 seems like a GREAT price for new ones.

Maybe I just bite the bullet and get Ref 1s and Ref 100 center to get the 3. Not sure what I'd do with the center.

No phono section, it's a straight line preamp - you need an outboard phono stage.
