    Emailed the Denver CRS guy and he got right back to me (45min)

    he said:
    Everything works. The connection cable between the two speakers isn't original, but I constructed my own and they work great.

    I have had only two local inquiries for these speakers, so they're still for sale    .

    ^ even with packing and shipping costs, they should come in under $200 and I think you'd be happy-- they do fit alot better than 2.3TL's :)....

    ^ I don't know about the amp, since he's willing to negotiate- offer $100. I WOULD try to get the AR3 speakers if his price is reasonable. A true classic speaker.

    LOL.... no, but I was like DAAAMMMMMMM...... the SMG-C's are newer than the SMG's but still eh.

    I really need a better set of headphones and headphone amp for work..... the home setup is down to just the HT and the wife wont allow me to keep those out all the time so its just not worth it.

    Love me some Maggies, but I honestly want to hold out for some 1.7's and build a system around them. The wife likes the Maggies so those are an easier sell at a later date
