    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-82290130-L05A

Okay, to get that $149.99 you have to deal with a mail-in rebate, but it's from Newegg so it shouldn't be a problem.
Here's the relatively small hoops you have to jump through for that rebate.
(I hate MIR's but for $149.99, what the heck !)

How to Claim Your Prepaid Card:
    1. Purchase the product listed above between 10/19/2013 and 10/20/2013 at
    Newegg.com.
    2. Go to newegg.rebateaccess.com
and enter the promotion number 52237
    3. Fill out and print the registration form for this promotion.
    4. Cut out and enclose the ORIGINAL UPC code from the product packaging.
    5. Enclose a copy of the sales receipt or invoice dated between 10/19/2013 and
10/20/2013 indicating your purchase at Newegg.com.
    6. Not combinable with any other offer.
    7. Mail all of these items to the address noted on the registration form. Submission
must be postmarked within 30 days of purchase in order to qualify.

Charleston, South Carolina area. That auction from two post above got relisted. Starting bid $225. They didn't sell for $250 last time.

I'm not the seller and I don't know the seller. But it's a good deal. I have the same fronts and center.

Usher CP-6371 for $800/pair (I think) in Phoenix. Wants too damn much for the center, but the price is right on the towers. For full disclosure, I think the 6371 is equivalent to the LSi-25 in its own series - while still a good speaker, it is probably the least-favored of the bunch.

What characteristics about these gives them this stigma? Low end problems from the second driver? How do they differ from the 6311's? Seems like a nice set for the price.

Yup, the Classics offer a phenonemal value, however you may not want to use their internal DAC's as they are not as good as the touch and IIRC are limited to 24/96 instead of 24/192 like the Touch...

They are excellent for the price - market price for them is like $1200-1500 from what I've seen. I believe the issue many have is the two drivers in close proximity - they just aren't as strong at imaging as the others in the line. The 6311 is a 2-way, while the 6381 and 6391 have subwoofers much lower in the cabinet. I've only heard the 6311 and 6381 so I definitely don't say that from experience.

    ***Disclaimer***
I am only putting this here for informational purposes only. Please don't chastise me. ;-)

That being said, Emotiva is running an up to 60% off sale site-wide.

One of the more notable items would be the XPA-100 for $299.

Any one familiar with Watkins WSC-1a speakers? Seems like there are a few positive reviews and they are certainly cheap enough.

At $25, you can't go wrong with virtually any speaker. Grab em.

These are a great speaker at that price. The designer and builder is from Kingsport TN about 15 miles from me and I have met him on a few occasions. He's in his 80's now and I had a pair of those that I had him sign the back of for me. He is famous for the double voice coil woofer used in some of the larger Infinity speakers back in the day. He had the patent I believe and sold the rights to Infinity or something along those lines.

Jim if you don't want them for $25 I really do but am 3 hrs away. Will be going down to Colombia SC on Thursday and could probably swing by if you get them for $25- I'll pay you $50 for them.....

Their weakness is the surrounds tend to disintegrate and need to be redone as well as the capacitors are pushing over 30yrs so could use a refresh. In good working order, I'd put them in the company of large advents and KLH 6's. Definitely worth $25.

I will contact him and see if he has them available. If I don't want them, you can of course have them for his sale price of $25. I certainly wouldn't ask for anything extra. The problem is my schedule. I probably couldn't get them before the weekend and therefore couldn't have them for you on Thursday. I will be working 8 - 5 Wed. through Fri. and have some other stuff after work. Today I am working 11-8PM and have to leave for work now.
