I think its just the market, they were selling for around $1500-1600 then one person decided to sell for $1200 and everyone follows suit. It would be hard to sell one for $1500 if you can look at the old ads and see one that sold two weeks before for $1200.

Same thing happened a couple of months back with all the PS Audio UPC-200's. They were oozing out of the woodwork at a $190-200 shipped pricepoint. Now you're lucky to snag one at $250.

Right, I agree. But, why so many so recently. Or is this typical? You seem to be following that particular amp more than me.

    BTW, mine shows up tomorrow.

Nevermind, it came early, and its huge.

    Thats what she said.

Anyways, I know what I am doing tonight. Rearrange the audio rack, swap out that puny Sunfire, and back in that beast of a Rotel.

I honestly have no idea why so many have popped up recently. The only reason I keep posting them is because for a while you couldn't find them below $1500, now $1200 seems common.

I just look through Agon for brands and products I know and if a low price catches my eye I check it out. The items I put up here are only ones that I know are good deals.

    B&K Reference 50 preamp + 7 2m Black Mountain Pinnacle cables + Audioquest Power Cord $1200 obo.

    http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls....roc&1182996929

The Ref 50s normally go for around $1000, this one is a 9/10 and you get the 7 cables as well as the upgraded power cord for only $200 more then regular price.

Should be now. . . Russ made me move them, and my change management (cut and paste) skills are lacking.
