Yeah, i'd say so. They're a BEEFY set of bookshelves. 8" woofer, over 50lbs per pair, bi-ampable, etc etc etc.

I haven't heard a pair in person, but if i were local to them, i would have already grabbed them.

Yes they are thats why I posted the link. I now am up to 3 pair of Mirage speakers and one sub, and have listened to many others and I have not heard a pair that I did not enjoy. VERY SMOOOOOTH

I really wonder if this would be a better match for my room size than the SDA 1Bs that I bought a few months ago. I have my entertainment center on the short wall of my 13' x 19' living room. Opposite from the EC is an 8' opening to the 13' x 14' dining room. I had not been happy with the confused imaging of my SDA 1Bs; I think they need a 16' clear expanse of wall to function well. I was awaiting time and money to rebuild the crossovers. But if these would fit better I would go for them. Will these work better on a 13' wall?
