First off , I am new to this club Polk and it appears to be a great place to get some first hand-experience.
I am building a house presently and setting up my Theater. Equipment I have purchased already is a Denon 4806 AVR, Polk LSI- 15, LSI-C, LSI-Fx. I also have a Velodyne 14inch Subwoofer.
What I am having trouble with is deciding what type of surround back speakers I should purchase for 7.1. Everything I have read leads me to believe that the Fx should be my surround left n right. My surround back speakers I have not purchased yet but should they be something like a LSI-9 or a LSI-7?
I am running some 12 awg wire bi wiring to each speaker as well. Bi wire seems to make a lot of sense. Basically it is seperating the lo filter from the hi filter in each speaker. Capacitor filters tend to fight each other in parallel.
I will be adding a Denon Hi-def DVD player once its released.
If anyone has suggestions or any experiences with this equipment please send me some advice.
Thanks
