    Default lsi15 woofer

    anybody know the reason why a 10 inch woofer was not used in the lsi15 instead of the 8 inch?

    maybe polk will start putting larger woofers in speakers to enhance bass.

    Has Polk ever used a woofer larger than (or equal to) the one in the LSi15 other than subwoofers?

    a 10 inch and a 12 inch woofer would be nice and no powered sub in the cabinet. that would be an improvment in polk speakers bass response.

    Yeah, this has been debated before. I'm just thrilled that they decided to make the LSi line, and make the passive LSi15. I think a 10" woofer or dual 8" woofers would be ideal.
