    You're double nuts!!

For the price you paid for two of those amps, you could have gotten a single real nice amp that was actually built in this century. :)

They look nice, how do they sound? Have you compared them to anything else?

If you enjoy them, doesn't ever hurt to have a spare one laying around.

Well they have to be heard to be appreciated. Kind of like when you hear a set of SDA speakers properly setup for the first time, it will bring a grin to your face.

I know it seems nuts to pay $500.00 by the time it arrives with shipping, for a 100wpc non tube amp. That isnt a krell, levininson or some similar brand name amp. But this is one of the few products that I am truly passionate about.

And there not going down in price. The used average on ebay for the last 60 days is $447.05 and this one is the nicest one of the 14 that were sold. the only other one i have seen that was nicer was a new in box one that sold for $900.00 last year.

But all of that really means nothing if you dont like it. And I truly love these little amps.

As to what I have compared these to. I have a 100wpc adcom at home that I compared to one of my D540s A 40wpc proton intregated amp. and the proton won hands down in clarity, mid range detail. bass response. and power.

Every time I would crank up the adcom it would go into protect mode on a song with heavy bass. The proton would only continue to get louder till it finally would start to distort at levels that would actually hurt your ears.

I also have a proton AA2120 that I have never compared to anything else. The only true comparasion was with the adcom.

I remember reading somewhere in a post about a nad 20wpc intregated amp that was being displayed at a polkfest somewhere and was amazing people. Well there kind of like that, they have to be listened to to be appreciated.

And yes I agree with all of you, im nuts but its in a good way because its all about the music.
