    Default A little tweeter fart..

    Upon shutting my amp (Earthquake Cinenova) off, I get a little tweeter fart after a few seconds in my towers. It's like a high pitched bleep sound but it is not very loud. Should I be concerned about this?

    I had an Outlaw 7700 amp hooked up prior to the new amp and it did not make this sound when shutting down. In addition, all other connections have remained constant so the only thing that has changed is the amp. This sound only occurs when turning it off. There are no issues while it is on.

    probabally not, adcoms are notorius for that, do you turn your amp off last? If you have a "mute" you could try it before turning your amp off. Good luck

    Good to know, I feel better about purchasing used already. Yes, the Amp is the last thing to be turned off.

    george is correct about some Adcom. I don't have that problem with my GFA-555II.

    Try turning the amp off FIRST; once all the caps are discharged (30 seconds should be enough), turn off your pre/processor.
