    Default Need an Integrated Amp

I've recently acquired some LSi7 to build a 2 channel system on, and am needing preamp/amplification.

I've seen a few preamp/amp combos that look appealing, but kind of like the idea of the simplicity of an integrated, and one with a remote.

EDIT: I've narrowed my search down to 2 models, any thoughts on these two?

I don't own any of the above, but I will say this; my NAD C320BEE rocks my socks off at 50w/ch. I wish I could afford a C372, I am sure that would push my B&W 600i's to all kinds of new limits..I love the sound and detail, and on top of it all, it just looks nice...The remote is well designed and easy to use too...I have heard the Cambridge is nice too, I think AndyGwis picked up one in the Flea Market....

Vintage Yamaha CA-800, CA-1000, CA-1010, or CA-2010. Cannot go wrong with these.

If you still got the Parasound preamp, get a solid amp.
You won't have a remote with the 850, but its a solid base to start with.

PM - I have a vintage SAE I102 integrated amplifier that would drive the cones out of those speakers if monoblocks don't tickle your fancy. It would be less than anything you posted previously and an excellent start for something fancier later.

Thanks for the offer Mark, but I think I'll let someone else take that off your hands. My wife wants something 'pretty' for the living room, and I've agreed to it (not that the SAE is fugly or anything, but you know what I mean...)

At this point, I'm deciding between the two below to drive the LSi7. Any thoughts on these two guys?

No experience with music hall but I tried the cambridge audio 640a v1 I got off Mark with my 7s and was surprised at how good it sounded. Was more then enough power for me, sounded much better then I expected, and I love the packaging. My only qualm is that the remote is to sensitive, push volume up and you get a big jump up. Besides that it is a great little performer.

My NAD does the same thing with the volume control and the remote...It takes a refined touch to not get a huge bump....(Pun intended:D :p )

I guess all of us could give you our opinion. But it would depend on what kinda sound you are looking for??? Looks might have to do with it too huh. on looks i love music hall's stuff. Not sure how sound their equipment is made and their durability marc has positive review on the 25.2 http://www.affordableaudio.org/MHa25.pdf. on sheer power and not to shabby looks either the 640 is quite nice 150wpc at 4ohms to 100 on the 25.2. I think the MH will pair nicely with the polks lsi's. Just for confusion sake dont rule out the nad audioadvisor has some demo's nad models as well or you can email andy at saturdayaudio.com he has some good prices on nad stuff as well.
