    Default Am I killing anything?

I assume everyone does this. When watching a DVD, usually a music concert, I switch among the various audio tracks for comparison without pausing anything. I never thought much about this but with the new pre/pro I have, I am just wondering if this could cause any problems.

The only damage you could do would be to the speakers if the line inputs are vastly different from analog to digital. I would turn the volume down a little when switching surround modes. You can not hurt the pre/pro.

Ya no harm done. It can actaually be a good way to compare things if you set it up right. Like warlocks said, watch the volume.

I love how music can brighten up a bad day.
