    Default VSX-84TXSi vs AVR-745 vs RX-V2700

Pioneer, H/K or Yamaha for RTi 6s and LSi 9s.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish here?? Need HDMI??

If I had any speaker in the RTi line, I'd get probably get an H/K. I had RTi8's for a short time with my Pioneer VSX-74TXVi and I thought my ears were gonna fall off. I'm sure it's the same if not worse with the Yammy.

    No need for HDMI.

Then you can cross off the Pionner and Yammy from your list.

The 9's are a laid back speaker. I have mine off a Yamaha and I like the sound. The Rti's are real bright though and the yammi would only make them worse. Check out some of the less mass marketed brands like AVR's from Adcom, Outlaw, Rotel, etc. They will have a better amp section anyway.
