What would be a good mid priced amp for my rti8's?I only listen to music and currently have a psw12 sub and an hk3480 harmon kardon receiver.

Adcom GFA-555. There were a ton made, and can be had cheap on ebay, and audiogon. They have large toridal power suplies, and large caps in them. They are very tight, and musical. How much are you looking to spend?

It depends on your ears. I have made many purchases over the last year, and have regretted not doing it right the first time. 250 really limits your options. Don't rely to heavily on watts. Its currant that makes the big difference. Your HK should be doing a decent job of driving your speakers, so if you are looking to upgrade I expect that you have critical ears. Take your time, and do it right. A deal will pop up.;)

I say look for some outlaw's mono. They can be found cheap. I am using one on my csi3 and using Marantz MA700 monos for my rti8s. It's a big difference.

Adcom,Outlaw Audio are very good. Take time to check out all your options. Read thru the threads to get others opions. Topic has been covered about amps numerous times.
