    Default Mounting Polk Audio FXi5

I heard that these speakers are heavy so I was wondering what is the best way to mount these speakers on the wall. Will I have any problems if I just mount them on drywall?

Get a stud finder and make sure you are hitting one with the screws. If you just put it into drywall I'm afraid you'll be looking for another pair of speaks.

Actually, I just asked the same question about my lsic. Someone pointed out in the manual it says to use a #10 Wall anchor + screw for a no stud wall.

I have the same speaker and Im going to mount them on the wall also soon. It looks like the rear is ready for some kind of custom mounting bracket.

Use the mounting template to drill holes to insert drywall anchors (the white plastic ones that screw into the drywall with a #3 phillips bit, then a metal screw goes in the center of the anchor). Then put a short 1x2 painted black or to match your wall below the speaker (mounted with the same type of drywall anchors), use some stick on black foam from Walmart on the top of this board. The wall screws will hold the speaker firmly to the wall, and the board below will hold the weight of speaker taking the stress off of both the bracket on the back of the speaker and the mounting screws.
