    one of my 5.25" db5520s has some distortion. i was wondering if they can still be warrantied. or if these are relatively easy to repair? im new to the forums, please be gentle.:D

    No worries, my first move would be to call Polk customer service, that would probably be your best first step.

    I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP
