Sealed boxes do not have 'tuning frequencies' like ported boxes do. All subwoofer systems (woofer + enclosure) have 'resonant' frequencies, but is not something you necessarily need to tune.
If you want to know the resonant frequency of a sealed sub system, then you need to know...
1. The following Thiele-Small parameters of the sub:
- Vas
- Fs
2. The total internal volume of airspace inside the enclosure (Vbox).
Use the formula:
[(Vas/Vbox)+1]^sqrt * Fs = Fc (resonant frequency)
Friends don't let friends listen to Bose.
how do you find out how much volume the box has? is it HxWxD?
