    Default Monitor 7 - refurbish

    Folks,

I have a pair of Monitor 7 speakers that I need some work (the woofer in one was punctured). It was my thought to replace the woofer in both units as well as check out the crossover network, and replace any aging components there (I've had these speakers for over 20 years).

Having never dealt with re-doing a Polk I was hoping to get some leeds on obtaining original equipment parts, if possible. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Mike

    jakelm,

Thanks, so much, for the information. This certainly makes the restoration easier.
