    Default Am I being scammed?

So I listed my first ever item out on Audiogon, the speakers I've been trying to sell. Not more than 4 hours after I listed, I received the following email. It looks kind of fishy to me, any thoughts?

I think I was okay until he started asking for my contact info. Is this typical, or does it look like a scam?

Take the cashiers check and hold the equipment until the check clears your bank, the clearing house, and the issuing bank. If it bounces you can then contact the U.S. Postmaster General and report the attempted mail fraud.

Anytime you get an email from a buyer and they don't mention the item specifically, it's a scam, end of story.
