    Default Marantz MA-700 Bridging "Transformerless"

    Hello Audio People from Earth.

I am wanting to purchase some MA-700 to accompany my nice Marantz SR8400. I was looking at the Marantz MA-700 monoblock manuals online and ran into a term called transformerless bridge.

What does that mean? I just hope the quality isn't harmed.

I don't know what that means, but I own 2 of those Ma700s and they are great. I want another to replace my outlaw mono on my centre. I will warn you, they are quite long, hey don't get hot (mine are on all the time). They put out 200w which is more than enough.
