Anyone have DCM Time Window 3's + SDA-CRS

Would love the hear your comparison. Love both for different reasons. The TW3's can handle 400 watts .....driven by a Yammie MX-1000 amp with 260 watts per. The SDA-CRS's driven by a B&K-ST-140 amp with 100 watts per. Both fed by a B&K Pro10mc preamp. The SDA-crs connected with MIT terminator 3 interconnects......the TW3's with **** cables....nothing long enough at present. Have a Panamax 1000+ conditioner in line. Reasonable speaker cables.....SDA"S have better.
For PARTIES (not many at my age) the TW3's win out....also at loud volumes. Both have nice highs.....Klipsch sub inline.......for both. Both fill the room with WONDERFUL sound.
My EARS are OLD.....would like to hear other opinions.......someday I might have to make the CHOICE.
ALSO.......what is the power rating for the The SDA-CRS's???....can't seem to find it.

Like many audiophiles of the 80's,. I had a set of standard Time Windows.
DCM corporation, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Do you know what DCM stands for ?

DCM stands for "Drug Capitol Of the Midwest" :)

The time windows I had were musical speakers, for their day.
They had a big sound as I remember due to staggered, foreward radiating driver pairs.

I have SRS 2's.

If memory serves me right, the Polk SRS 2's eat the Time Windows Lunch I owned.

Maybe the Time Window 3 is a different animal ?

Had the TW 1's also, and the "QED's" (still have the QED's).....TW 3's are 3x the 1's.........but still wish I had the 1's. DCM also made TW 7's (only 2000 prs) the HOLY Grail of speakers.
The TW 3's are similar to the Shahinian Arc's, which are still made today....out of NY. Beautiful Time Line surround effect for 2 channel.....google the ARC's.
The sound just sounds natural.....not point source. It envelopes YOU. Different experience....that is why I have both. Would be hard pressed to give up either.

Called and the lady said she didn't know much about them, but they say "Time Window 3" on them. Never heard of it. Anyone know if this is worth sneaking a look at?

I have a set of the original TimeWindow 1's.

The guy I bought them from in Chicago said that that DCM was an iside joke from the founders of DCM and stands for DeCriminalize Marijuana.

I saw a picture of those guys at DCM in Ann Arbor from the 70's and it could be true...Far out Man!.

I suppose if much of the great music from the 70s was created under the influence, it makes sense to listen to it on speakers that were also created under the influence.

and I think they would be a project set. Replacing parts to upgrade and what not.
I've seen alot of peoples' write-ups about improving them some and being blown away by their sound!

I've owned the time frame 400 and was amazed. I'll get another pair but will look for the 600 model as a keeper.

A friend gave me a bookshelf pr. that are amazing in their sound quality too!
I still have them and probably will keep them too. Sentimental reasons too.

....Definitely a no brainer at that price. I sold mine to get a pair of Maggies. The Time Window 3's usually sell for $350.00 and up. Definitely a must try speaker. They also made a TW7, but only around 2000 prs. Will fill a good size room with wonderful sound. They have a right and left speaker setup like the SDA's

have had a few different pairs of Time Windows and all sounded nice
