Center channel choice with RM40T front speakers

Hi,

I am about to purchase a Polk center channel speaker to accompany my RM40T front speakers. Which would you recommend?

The CS2 looks the best but retails at $299. The CS1 is available for $105 on Amazon. Is it worth spending the extra $194 for the CS2?

I'd suggest you call Polk tech support. I did that a few days ago after not getting any responses on this forum about possibly upgrading my RM202 center speaker.

My guess is that they will suggest another speaker in the RM series because it will be "matched" to the RM40T's you plan to buy.
