Default Are my speakers magnetically shielded?

I'd like to set my computer up beside my speakers/sub but I'm a little gunshy.

    What say the experts?

It depends on what you have. Could you please list the gear that you are trying to do this with? That will help us help you.

    Thanks

If you put them next to the monitor and the colors go funny they are not magnetically shielded. If that happens use the degauss feature on you monitor.
