    Default mhardy6647......question?

mhardy6647, I notice in your photo here that you have a similar speaker that I listened to as a kid of.....oh, 15 ears of age. The one's I experienced were about 8' tall and probably two feet wide with drivers like yours from floor to ceiling. The base of the one's that I am referring to were different though. Same wood/stain if memory serves.

Here's the question. What are those?

In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to good analogue reproduction.

And I bet they sound great with those Big Beautiful Levinson amps pushing them.

Looks like a very nicely done DIY design using ribbons and Parts Express RS series woofers?
