Default rti A9 amp requirement same as rti12?

Noticed many posts regarding the need for enough amp to drive the rti12s.... Wondering is the same is true for the new A9s?

    Thanks!

If the new A9's have the same driver compliment as the 12's then I would say yes. It will sound fine with whatever receiver you have running them. They will simply sound much better with more power from separate amplification since they will be able to operate to their full capacity.

^+ 1 with Cfrizz, get an amp when the funds permit. Just dont drive them too hard with the AVR to prevent damage.

Yes, the same is true. Clean power, that is.
