    Default Thanks....

I just want to throw this out there and there really is no need to reply....but with my being here in Iraq and going off for another year to Korea shortly after I return.....You guys have really humbled me in the outpouring of support and genuine offers of help and so forth.

I know things here have been volatile the past few months and so forth but I'd just like to point out some of the real grassroots community things that go on here. I think that's something some of the new folks just don't get....you hang around here and you become part of a family. You ain't finding that on any other forum.

Anyhow, I want to just express my gratitude and say thanks to you guys. I appreciate it.

Except for Ted and George who are just ecstatic about another year of macking on my wife without me around to interfere. They can kiss my ass.

It amazes me that the government doesn't see the stress they're putting on
you guys. Sounds like there aren't enough bodies to go around.
30 years ago, I wan't to go back overseas, and they wouldn't do it.
I had to wait my turn!
Regardless of how anyone feels about Iraq, they can't fault the troops
for not performing their duties to their best. As always, the American GI
comes through. Thank you for being there.

Yep, thanks Troy for serving in the military. Stay safe and have as good a Holiday season one can have away from friends and family.

"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Troy, we're just glad you still can keep in contact with us... it's like you're not even gone really. ;) i know we'd miss ya if you didn't have internet there and couldn't otherwise stay in contact with the gang here.

Here's hoping your time there goes by quick and you can rejoin TLW and your stereo rig soon. :)

Can you bring some sand back ?
I need some sand to fill in around the back patio. A couple of duffel bags ought to do it.

Keep safe, keep a low profile, and thanks for your efforts !

Keep thinking positive, too. At least in Korea, they probably serve better kimshe.

.... and try not to forget the sand.

And if you're right about Ted, he can eat me too. I can't believe he'd do that to you, but if you say so.

Agree with all the others BDT! I'm sorry you won't be home for long before they send you back out again.

But at least you are able to stay in better touch with family & friends thanks to the internet & computers!

    Take care of yourself.
