    Thumbs up MFSL LP A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra

    For you vinyl heads.

    I've had this LP sealed for almost 30 years. I opened it up tonight treated it and gave it a spin with the rest of the family in attendance.

    Sonics = 5 stars

    Performance = 5 stars; this was when Frank was young and his vocal chords were very strong.

    Engineering/Mix = well like most MFSL Original Master Recordings = priceless

    ???

    You buy LP. Throw it in a time capsule marked, "not to be enjoyed for 30 years". Then open it up and give it a spin?

    Wow. Wish I had that discipline. :D

    I have quite a few like that but there is a long story attached. Trust me it was not discipline.:)

    I don't know jack about the vinyl world, but, wasn't that album worth a lot more with the wrapping intact?
    Not judging or anything. It makes sense to me to actually listen to it, as opposed to just showing it off.
    I'm just trying to learn and evolve UP the audiophile ffod chain.

    It really does when you burn it.
    Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

    Thanks for the offer, but I'll stick with digital. I don't have the discipline to go that route.
    I've got an old Acoustic Sounds catalog with a $38,000.00 turntable listed/ reviewed.
    That, to me, IS SCARY!
