I particularly like the D-Sonic. That thing is a monster, you'll be impressed with it. Everything looks good, though I would subtitue the LSi 15s for an RTi10 or 12 to have everything matched. Or just go all LSi. Also I would go for the CSi5 instead of the 3 for better dialog. Last but not least go for a better sub, SVS since theyre on sale.

i actually got the RTi12 initially, then changed it to the lsi15...

let me search around and see if i can find the csi5 for a good price

on the d-sonic, i keep going back and forth on the 1000s and the 500s....the lsi15 are rated 250wpc, 4ohm...and the 500s puts out 500wpc, 4ohm...seems to be enough for the LSi15?

Also spec on the icepower module in the 500s seems a bit better than the 1000s

If you are going to stick with the LSi15's, you should really look at replacing the center with the LSiC.

    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)

As for more info on the D-sonic 500S, I havent had my ear on it, The 1000S is my first go at the D-Sonic stuff, and I can tell you right now I love what I hear from the unit. Very detailed, very good bass and midrange. As mine has'nt exactly broken in yet, its only been in my system since this past Saturday. I dont think you can go wrong with either. The units are constructed very well, 20lbs may not seem like allot but these units are solid. Email Dennis for any questions you may have, he's nice guy to work with. And last but not least heed McLoki's suggestion on the LSi or Rti speaker selection. Though being that you have Rtis mentioned for the other speakers I would consider the Rti 10s/12s which should save you some coin and put that towards the SVS sub.

Welcome to D-Sonic, another Icepower pimp has joined the ranks. Setup looks good thus far, I suggest cable management right now so everything will be under control as you go. I didnt take a pic of the bottom of my amp, 1000S but now I know what it looks like. Those things have very solid construction. Congrats, now lets break open those boxes bro. I also recommend Signal Cable for your speaker wire and Interconnects for your amps.

Not trying to thread jack, but here's an explanation of my setups:

I'm running a Classe SSP-600 sound processor with a Classe CA-5200 200Wx5 on them. Source will be a PS3 for BluRay and Rotel RCD-1072 CD player. This setup is for my bed room. As for the question of mixing colors, my dealer did not have the rears and center in black, so they let me take the display home why I wait for the black version to come in...that's all.

As for my living room, I will be using the same Classe sound processor. But for amplifier I will be using FIVE of the Classe CA-M400, these things are 80lbs each! Three each to power FR, FL and center. One to power the two rear surrounds and one to power the side surrounds. Speaker wise, FR, FL and center will be powered by B&W 800D (the towers shown in the pic below, I will post pics of them when they arrive) and for the surround rear and sides will be using B&W 803Ds which are the tower pictured in the pic below the 800Ds. Finishing the speakers off will be a pair of Revel B15a 15" subwoofer (in the last pic). I have not decided on audio and video source yet. I will post my setup once they arrive and then when my new home is finished building, I will post pics of them all set up! I can't wait for the living room setup :)

Thanks, don't even know when the house will be done yet :( There are some appliances, wood flooring and granite that are taking longer to import in than expected....kind of aggravating me. When everything is done and I'm moved in and setup, any of you that are local to me are more than welcome to come and check out the system! :D

I need to stop thread jacking SlowcarIX (I appologize) so I posted my own thread, after I got done setting up the speakers. Thread located here:
