Default In-Ceiling Center Channel Speaker Help

    Hello all,

I have a situation where I'm helping a friend build an pseudo HT room, very open not completely dedicated HT, probably 50/50 on Movie/Music.

Based on room specs there is no place for a normal center channel speaker. Only option is a in-ceiling center channel perhaps.

The fronts will be RTi A1 or A3. Would the TC60i work as a center channel in this application? If so at what distance from the main seating location would you place the speaker in the ceiling or would it be directly above?

Has anyone heard of a in-ceiling angled firing normal center channel to perhaps work in this application?

    Also,

Any suggestions on surround backs for the ceiling in this setup?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Tom...

I was thinkjing about that too instead iof cutting into my wall. I wanted to use Sonance Modernos with angled tweeters, but may still need to install them in the wall. I really like flush mount speakers.
