    Default Help to decide...

I have decided to pick up a new sub to relieve all the problems I've had with my old one. However, I have seriously considered installing new sub speakers in the old 10" polk sub box, there are 2 -6.5" with the passive 10" front, but I was wanting to know if putting a 10" driver in instead and making a 2" port hole in it would be wise? If so, will any decent 10"driver be ok to ad some base when watching movies?

    What would you do?

Buy a new sub instead of doing a mickey mouse job.

Well, the bottom line is this. I want to get the best sub that I can that will rumble and sound great to watch movies without spending more than $300 including shipping.

So, what do you all recommend?

I've been online looking all day in a lot of places.

Here's your best bang for the buck. http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=406
I have their now discontinued A5-300(replaced with the A5-350), it has no problem shaking my house and it's not a "one tone" sub.
