Inverting the db214's in the db212-2

I have the db212-2 and I am thinking of inverting for look. Just wondering how much sound degradation there would be.

Doesn't make a difference, with any sub.....

Depends on the sub, some subs have noisy motors & having them exposed may degrade sound quality I would assume. Kinda when you watch the video's of subs being played in free air, you can hear the mechanical noise of the sub.

If this were the case would have serious issues with alignments such as dipole IB arrays. The noise in those vids has nothing to do with a noisy motor, it is a woofer getting pounded to death....
