    Default amps

    for my 2 mm120's, which will be put in a bandpass box, which amps should i consider?

    also, i have a pair of momo 6.5's component set in the front and some infinity kappa 6x9's in the back, which amps would you recommend i check out for them

    Scott,
    The bandpass enclosure incorporates "gain" and therefore you can get by using a amplifier that has a 2 Ohm bridged power rating of around 500 Watts. For the components, use a 2 channel amp that has a power rating of 100 to 150 per channel. I would recommend using 2 dedicated amplifiers for this application to achieve the best possible performance from these sepakers.

    You might want to look at amplifiers from Alpine, Eclipse, Kicker, MTX, Fosgate, Kenwoods' Excelon series, and Zapco just to name a few. Set both the high pass and low pass crossovers to 80
    Hertz and allow 40 hours of playing music at a reasonable level to let the drivers' suspension "break-in".
