    Default Possible Deal?

I can get brand new RTi10s and a PSW10 for 550.00 - Is this worth it?

Background: I have RTi8s and a CSi5 and no Woofer. I was hoping to get another pair of RTi8s and a pair of RTi12s.

I know the psw10 is not very popular.

    Thoughts?

I don't really want the PSW10 - I plan to sell it. It's kind of cheap.

The PSW10 is an entry level subwoofer not a giant killer. The PSW150 isn't that much better overall and also an entry level subwoofer.

The only line that is light years above Polk subwoofers historically, is the new DSW line. Even the smaller and current PSW series are an improvement. Alot of work went into the new series.

Those are pretty big speakers you have already. The RTi10 are reputed to need substantial power, which begs the question: what amplification are you using?

I will be getting something separate. I got another pair of RTi8s and the Onk705 seems to be ok. My hope now is to get a pair of RTi12s and amp those and the CSi5.

    Hi Polk Guru's....

Iam an amuture in Speaker World...
Recently bought Samsung LCD TV then i felt that i need Home Theater system , so i was search for Home Theaters Speakers and Receivers.
I was kind of finalized on Onkyo receiver...

The sales person at Circuitcity suggested me that "Polk" would a better option as i was look for budget around $500.

So please need your expert guidliness .. as i have noticed that "Polk Audio - RM10 5-Pack" are on sale at onecall.com.

So Please let me know between "Polk Audio - RM10 5-Pack or Polk Audio - RM75 or Polk Audio - RM85 or Polk Audio - RM95 " are better speakers.

I tried to do the product compare but couldn't tell the exact difference.

    Thansks in advance.

That seems a little high to me since I have seen reports here of new RTi-10s going for199.99 in some places. Especially since you don't want the subwoofer. The Rti-10s are great with some external amplification.

^I agree. I can get RTi10's here in Canada for $550. You should be able to get them cheaper then that over there.
