ahh, the Gremlin.
I cannot wait to look at this list. I wonder how many of them I have owned (maybe still do)?!
all the best,
mrh
I managed to be an owner (now former owner) of a Ford Explorer. I liked it when it wasn't costing me several hundred $$ at a pop to get repaired. The wallet ripping dead tranny was the last straw!
The Ford Pinto, god bless that little hunk of junk. A friend had one in highschool. 3 of us drove down to Kings Dominion (amusement park in VA in case ya don't know) packed in that little bitch. It's amazing I'm here to tell about it.
Some seriously funny stuff on this list.

I'm not saying she's a slut, but if her vagina had a password...it would be password.
That was great!!

We had a 1993 Exploder. Fortunately it never did, just gradually rusted and decomposed into oblivion.

mrh
That list overall is BS...

Absolutely. It may be entertaining to read but this is a silly excuse to start a 50 best/worst list that has no basis in fact. It's simply the author's personal opinion/rant about certain vehicles. Many on the list are ridiculous examples. How the F do you call the Model T one of the 50 worst vehicles??? It would be in the top 5 best on any other list.
Yes, I really expected a Time piece on the 50 Worst Cars to be serious, hard-hitting journalism....
C'mon guys, lighten up a bit. It was an entertaining read. NOTHING more.
And just remember, all "top XX lists" in magazines are only created to stir up controversy.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
I own 1 of them, and everything they say about is true. However it has always started even when my 98 and 05 F150 did not start. In fact I drove it to get the parts to get the f150's running again.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
Wow, you own one of these?? Cool.

Ah, the Amphicar. One of my dad's friends owned one, of course when I was driving in it with them I wasn't aware of that -- until he drove into the lake and I was fearing for my life. It's funny now, looking back, but at the time I was so mad about it.
Well, the Corvair definitely makes the list. Not for looks, but for reliability. That was definitely one POS but collectors still pay a hefty price for one in great condition. Yeah, the Model "t" should be on the top 5 for automotive history and not on the list of worst cars of all time.

The Hummer H2? Worst car why? Because of the timing. Give me a break.

I've got a '93 Explorer I still drive. 236,000 miles. One set bushings, one fuel pump, and a tranny rebuild at 200,000 miles. Still runs strong and pulls my boat with no effort. No complaints from me on this vehicle.
Lots of Carver stuff and a pair of LSi9's
This one made the list? Come on now. I'd love to have one, those things are hot! I heard rumor that some of them could flat out stomp a Corvette. Maybe not this year's version, but still IMO it should not have made the list.

Ha!!! I've got a 2002 S-10, 4.3L V6!!! I'll be driving that thing til they throw dirt on my ass:D
My first car was a '67 MG Midget, "The Green Mamba". There is no reason that car shouldn't be on that list. It failed at every opportunity. All types of failures. Mechanical, electrical, environmental, structural. You name it, it failed.
My second car was a black '63 Pontiac Bonneville, "The Chief". Going from the Midget to the Bonnie was like going from a kayak to the Queen Mary. That was a great car.
I must have missed something, which number was the Honda Elephant or Element or whatever that atrocity is called.

The Prowler made the list, wow. I never knew that thing had only a V6 in it.
