    Default Virtual Dynamics Cables

    http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f21/my...er-3-a-293165/

For anyone who has ever used cables or powercords from Virtual Dynamics, this is what you actually get with your $$$. Quite educational, I think everyone should at least read the first page.

Oh the expensive Virtual Dynamics stuff will cost you well into the 4 figures. I sure don't have that kind of money to spend on water hose and hot glue :p

And BTW, my LSi9's and Denon PMA-2000IVR integrated amp just arrived today. But I can't hook them up yet, because my speaker cables wont come in till next week. :o

Without a doubt, they are remarkable cables. Some what stiff but extremely well constructed. I have a digital cable & analog RCA pair from the David Series. Now that I am using balanced XLR cables in my system, these fabulous cables are up for sale. They're in the flea market. PM if interested on making me an offer.

I just wonder if people that are making the comments have actually tried any of the VD cables.

I can surely comment first hand on how good these cables are. Before going with balanced XLR cables, these VD David Series were by far the best cables I had in my system. Period!

Here's a power cable company that not only tells you how they make their cables, they show you exactly what you are paying for.

I use the Statements on all my gear and can highly recommend them.

What bothers me most is how the official VD company rep acts like an abrasive, bratty child in that thread. Not a good indicator for how the company does business and thinks of its customers.

I'm also bothered that some rush to the defense of a clearly sub-par $150 cable build, when there are much better built products available for far less. By extending some of the bizarre price-justifying logic used in that thread, a well engineered & well built entry-level hifi power amp (Rogue 90, Manley Stringray, Parasound A21, Pass X150, many more to choose from, take your pick...) should retail in the $10's of thousands (if not much more, since the cable pictured in that thread is not quality engineering at any price).

That was pretty entertaining, and I have found a new signature quote from it. Thanks.

I can not get my VD P3 cord to stay plugged into my amp (Rotel RB-1092) or preamp Rotel RC-1090). The weight of the cord pulls itslef out fromt he IEC plug. Plus, the prongs don't seem to fit tightly inot the PC3 lug recepticle. I tried wrapping a few layers of electrical tape on plug to get it to fitn snugly. No luck with that.

If the intent is to start another cable debate, pass.

Of all the cable pissing contests that I've encountered, not one person's mind was ever changed.

Whatever camp you are in, cool. Press on. If the intent is just to stir the **** pot, take it someplace else.
