    Default Musical Fidelity A5 Pre phono section

    Anyone know if my MF A5 pre wil handle a low output moving coil cartridge? I have the mm/mc option. Fwiw My manual says that the input sensitivity for mm is 2.5 mV and for mc 370uV. Any thoughts?

    If the sensitivity is 370uv, then you should be fine with low output mc's down to that. To be on the safe side, use an MC with 0.5 mv output. Lots of choices.:D
