A little personal question I guess but at least it's not like I'm asking for your shoe size or what kind of toilet paper you use or what your checking account number is! Besides, I'm bored at work 'cause it snowed here today so this place is a ghost town and nothing is going on.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand. I've liked every car I have even owned. I still have my Ranger and while that has been in my possession for 15 years now at least and I put it through hell, it's not the one I liked the most. The Lightning is way cool and tons of fun but it's a bruiser and still a pickup. Not exactly endearing to the opposite sex. The fact that it can take a stretch of highway and chew it up faster than a good 80% of the cars on the road today is a bit of a detraction in others' eyes too. So a pickup with a warp drive that screams like a banshee and wakes up the neighbors in the morning is a blast but not my favorite.
The one I miss the most is my Thunderbird. Yeah, it was just a Ford but it was "big ballin'" at the time. It was painted Ford's Opal Frost color which was one of Ford's "color shifting paints". It went from silver to blue to purple to a darker blue. Had 17 inch chromed Cragars with steamroller sized BFGoodriches on it. Tinted the windows too. Had fancy-pants performance shocks and struts with big sway bars and stuff too. But it was super comfy inside and everyone who rode in it fell asleep. It was like driving a Lazy-Boy down the highway. It was a 4,000 pound cruiser that didn't accelerate like a bat out of hell but it would hang with BMWs and Porsches in a turn or on an off-ramp. Had a nice stereo too! Yeah, that was my favorite car and I had it before I was married. All the girls always wanted to ride in it. It got parked with the BMWs, Mercedes and Lexuses at the clubs and always drew attention pulling up to the front door. That car was bad-ass and I miss it. It was defiantly my favorite car.
