any experience with one of these?
looks like a brute (dig that tranny and caps). fan too noisy? is it more "pro sound"? seems like plenty of power (120-175 RMS per channel @ 8 ohms, depending on the literature). found one for what appears to be a great deal (pics are from the web, not of the actual amp). it is very heavy, BTW.



i really really really want a brutus amp to drive with my nad integrated. unfortunately, the wallet fairies have been dirty little ****** to me, and uncle sam wasnt particularly kind this year.

ill give a look, thanks. as it turns out, the amp has a problem (seller didnt realize). powers up and fan spins up, but the HT relay never kicks in, making for a 40 lb paperweight. i was going to give a c-note for it. oh well.

Bummer about the amp. I just bought another brand new Crown XLS 602D (latest version). Gonna bridge my 1.2 TL's. Amp arrives today. Great deal btw. 369.95 with free delivery. These amps sound great.
